Programs - Chiseled into a Champion

July 25th, 2008

Vanja from Sweden

HI, My name is Vanja Kollmann and I am from Sweden. I have been racing dirt bikes, mainly enduros, since 2002. I have been racing all over the world both European championship and ISDE. This year I wanted to go to USA to race GNCC. My plan was to try two races to see what it was like. When I arrived I was told there would be a racing clinic nearby with Steve and Denise Hatch. I wanted to participate but was nervous because I didn't know anyone and still struggle with the language. The first day we introduced each other and Steve presented a plan for the week. Then I felt that this would fit me perfect. The days were tough and a lot of practice. I felt that I improved in many ways and I got alot of good advice about the races. Every night I wrote notes of everything that we had done during the day to rehearse it, and think about it one more time. I visualized what I should do in the upcoming race. I did as planned on the race, grabbed the holeshot and stayed up front the whole race. I won! both in NC and PA. I felt very focused before and under the race. I know that my result depended alot on the training I did with Steve the week before the race. But I also know that the mental training I did with Denise every day helped me maybe even more. I will use this in my future motorcycle racing and I know that will make a difference. Thank you very much Steve and Denise Hatch for an awesome clinic with unforegettable memories and many new friends. Best regards, Vanja Kollman #555

Great 2nd place Ride by Ryan Sipes-TX supercross - 03.22.10
Ryan,

Had one of his best races in Texas this past Saturday night. In the main event in the supercross lites class there was chaos in the first turn with a huge crash taking pretty much the entire field out. Ryan waited and got through the mess and rode strong and mistake free race for 14 laps-leading each lap, at the whoop section on the last lap a lapper tried to get out of Ryan's way and actually pulled in front of him and this allowed 2nd to get into the lead. Ryan was still stoked with his strength, stamina and mental power to feel strong and focused and calm while leading 98% of the race. We are proud to be working with Ryan as he is one of our racers in the SHR factory rider programs (which we work with him in the mentoring, training and coaching, plus much more on how to become the best!)This program is also available to the elite few (only 10 riders total in the program and we already have 6) so if you are interested in taking your riding and racing to the next level call me at 480-242-6502

In NY then back to AZ-all great! - 01.22.10
Great to see much of my family and my daughter Samantha and I are doing a fast trip into Ithaca NY where I grew up...I have a WNYOA year end awards banquet to speak at Saturday night, so it should be awesome to see many riders and friends that I know from growing up racing in upstate NY...then back to AZ to finalize my riders so they are razor sharp for round #1 of the WORCS next weekend!
